Terms of service

Last updated October 24, 2026

These terms are the agreement between your business and HandyLead. You accept them when you tick the box and order a campaign. We kept them short and plain on purpose.

Who we are

HandyLead is a trade name of Eugene Tamarovsky, a sole proprietor in British Columbia, Canada. BC registration: number to be added. GST/HST: number to be added.

Email: hello@handylead.ca. Mail: mailing address to be added.

What we do

We plan, design, print and mail postcards for your business, and show you how many people scanned the QR code on them. There are three packages:

  • After a job: The street around a job you just finished. From 150 homes.
  • Town mailing: One card to the Canada Post routes around you. From 1,000 homes.
  • Season: The same homes, three cards, about 3 weeks apart. From 1,000 homes, 3 cards.

Town mailings go to whole Canada Post letter-carrier routes as unaddressed mail (Neighbourhood Mail). We never collect the names of the people who live there. Prices are on the pricing page, in Canadian dollars, before GST/HST.

How an order works

  1. You paste your website. Our tool reads your public pages and drafts a card. You can change any word.
  2. You pick a package and pay a deposit by card through Stripe.
  3. Usually within 1 business day we post a print proof, the exact home count and the final price on your campaign page.
  4. You approve it or ask for changes. Nothing prints before you approve.
  5. When you approve, you pay the balance on your campaign page and we send your cards to print and to Canada Post.

Your card and what's on it

You confirm that what's on your card is true and yours to use: your business name, phone, offer, licences, photos and logo. We only use what's on your site or what you give us, and we don't add claims, prices or deals of our own.

We can refuse a card that breaks the law or Canada Post's rules, or that we think could mislead people. If we do, we refund your deposit.

Deposits, changes and refunds

  • Your deposit counts toward the total.
  • If you don't approve the proof, or cancel before you approve it, we refund the deposit in full to your card, usually within 10 business days.
  • Once you approve and the cards are printed, printed and mailed cards can't be refunded.
  • If we made the mistake (a typo we added, the wrong area), we reprint and mail again at our cost.
  • If Canada Post loses or fails to deliver mail, we help you claim with Canada Post. We can't refund postage that Canada Post doesn't refund to us.

Dates

Dates we give you are estimates. Canada Post doesn't guarantee delivery dates for unaddressed mail, and printers can be busy. If printing slips more than a week past the date we gave you, you can cancel and get your deposit back.

Results

We count scans of your QR code (once per phone per hour) and show the number on your campaign page. Each card has a mailing code (like HL-7K3P) that callers can quote. We don't track calls automatically yet. We can't promise a number of calls or jobs, and we never will.

Your data

How we handle your information is in our privacy policy. In short: we use it to run your campaign, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

Limits

If something goes wrong, the most we owe you is what you paid for that campaign. We aren't responsible for lost business or profits. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Law and changes

These terms are under the laws of British Columbia and Canada, and the courts of British Columbia decide any dispute. If we change them, the new version applies to new orders only. Each order keeps the version you accepted.
